Qualifications:

- Experience Required: 2-5 years of professional experience
Responsibilities
- Research and understand players: Who are they? What motivates them? What are their pain points?
- Design game flows and mechanics: Ensure smooth progression, clear learning curves, and engaging experiences.
- Prototype and iterate: Build mockups and playable versions to test and refine designs.
- Collaborate with other game developers: Work closely with game designers, artists, programmers, and other team members.
- Analyze player data and feedback: Identify areas for improvement and inform future design decisions.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices: Keep up-to-date on the latest game UX research and methodologies.
Requirements:
- UX Design: Understanding of user-centered design principles, user research, information architecture, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Game Design: Familiarity with various game genres, mechanics, and player psychology.
- Visual Design: Strong visual design skills with an understanding of UX best practices for mobile devices.
- Communication & Collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams (programmers, artists, game designers), and provide constructive feedback.
- Problem-Solving: A knack for identifying and solving usability issues, optimizing player experience, and iterating on designs based on data and feedback.
Preferred:
- Experience with any game engine.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant game UX projects or personal game creations.
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of current trends and player preferences.
